Schäffer showcases the next generation of loaders at LAMMA: 17 - 18 January 2018
Schäffer’s stand at LAMMA 2018 will be packed with new developments, as one of the world-leading loader manufacturers introduces the next generation of machines at the start of an exciting year. Loaders large and small will be on display, including the mighty new 9640 T telescopic wheel loader, the innovative 8620 T with its wealth of options and the most compact telescopic wheel loader, the 2345 T SLT, complete with a comfortable new cabin.
2018 looks set to be an exciting year for Schäffer as it brings further flair and innovation to its hugely successful range of loaders, with flexible features, added comfort and rugged new styling across the ranges, plus breakthrough engineering with the world’s first yard loader with lithium-ion technology due to launch later in the Spring. The company’s stand at LAMMA will showcase a taste of what’s to come.
The new 8620 T succeeds Schäffer’s very successful 8610 T telescopic wheel loader. With a wealth of options, including two different motor options, speeds and heights, it provides a tailored solution for larger farms, biogas plants and agricultural contractors. A revised drive concept means the 8620 T delivers on efficiency too. The 8620 T has two engine options: a 75 kW/102 hp or 90 kW/122 hp Deutz engine. Both engines meet the Tier IV final emissions standard without the need for a maintenance-intensive diesel particulate filter – a major advantage when it comes to operating costs. The standard driving speed is 20 km/h. The loader is also available with a maximum speed of 40 km/h – particularly advantageous for use outside the yard. An additional option allows the telescopic wheel loader to be used as a towing vehicle with a permissible towing capacity of up to 12 tonnes.
The 9640 T represents a new generation of telescopic wheel loaders from Schäffer. The successor to the very successful 9630 T features a fresh design and fulfils all the specifications for the exhaust gas level Tier IV final/ Stage IV. With speeds of up to 40 kph together with the SDCT autodrive (Schäffer Dual Clutch Transmission), the Eco Mode drive mode and the new SCV-Plus cabin, the machine offers you options which were previously unthinkable in terms of efficiency, agility, driving comfort and ergonomics. With a service weight between 8.4 and 9.7 t, a lifting height of 5.40 m and a lifting force of 4.2 t, the new telescopic wheel loader provides the ideal conditions for demanding load handling in large agricultural companies, contractors and biogas plants.
The 2345 T SLT is the most compact telescopic wheel loader in the Schäffer range. New this year is the cabin, which can be fitted to the powerful loader, in response to customer feedback. The height of the machine does not change with the addition of the cabin, staying below 2 metres. The telescopic wheel loader which has a power of 33 kW/ 45 HP and weights 2.9 t has a lifting height at the tool pivot point of 3.75 m. The tipping load of up to 1.65 t is very respectable and makes powerful loading cycles possible despite the very compact machine measurements. As of now, the 2345 SLT and 2336 SLT farm loaders, as well as the 2345 T SLT are available with a cabin.
