A dazzling array of new products from Schäffer at Agritechnica (12-18th November, Hanover, Germany)

Schäffer is showing a dazzling array of new products at Agritechnica this year. The new 2032 compact loader with high-pressure drive, a new cabin for the most compact telescopic wheel loader 2345 T SLT, a larger lifting height for the 5680 T and the new 9640 T are just a few of the new highlights Schäffer is showcasing for the public in Hannover.

With the new Schäffer 2032 a loader has been developed which is one of the most agile and manoeuvrable in its class. The reason for this is the new drive concept, the basis of which is the high-pressure axial piston pump. It is able to convert the output from the powerful 22 kW/ 30 PS Kubota motor into the agility which is unrivalled in its class. This allows extremely lively operation of the 2032 and rapid acceleration to 20 kph. On top of that the turning radius is extremely small due to the use of axle motors in place of a cardan shaft. Thanks to the high-pressure drive, a high level of thrust can be achieved even without a cardan shaft. This is supported by the new 5-hole axles, which further increase the efficiency due to their adapted transmission ratio and thereby reduce the fuel consumption.

The 2345 T SLT is the most compact telescopic wheel loader in the Schäffer range. It was on show at the last Agritechnica exhibition. New this year is the cabin, which can be fitted to the powerful loader. “This enables us to fulfil numerous customer requirements” says Mario Middeke, Schäffer Export Sales Manager. The height of the machine does not change at all. “Even with the cabin the machine height stays under 2 metres, as that is what makes our SLT loaders special”, Middeke went on to say. The telescopic wheel loader which has a power of 33 kW/ 45 HP and weights 2.9 t has a lifting height at the tool pivot point of 3.75 m. There have also not been any compromises in terms of lifting power. The tipping load of up to 1.65 t is very respectable and makes powerful loading cycles possible despite the very compact machine measurements. As of now, the 2345 SLT and 2336 SLT farm loaders, as well as the 2345 T SLT are available with a cabin.

From now on, the 5680 T will be fitted with the newly-designed front part. The 55 kW/ 75 HP machine from the mid-range of Schäffer products can now achieve a lifting height of 4.70 m instead of the previous 4.25 m. With a service weight of 4.5 t, the lifting force is 2.4 t. The machine is available both with a protective roof or with a cabin.

The 9640 T represents a new generation of telescopic wheel loaders from Schäffer. The successor to the very successful 9630 T features a fresh design and fulfils all the specifications for the exhaust gas level Tier IV final/ Stage IV. With speeds of up to 40 kph together with the SDCT autodrive (Schäffer Dual Clutch Transmission), the Eco Mode drive mode and the new SCV-Plus cabin, the machine offers you options which were previously unthinkable in terms of efficiency, agility, driving comfort and ergonomics. With a service weight between 8.4 and 9.7 t, a lifting height of 5.40 m and a lifting force of 4.2 t, the new telescopic wheel loader provides the ideal conditions for demanding load handling in large agricultural companies, contractors and biogas plants.
